The objective of shaping some hypothesis for bathing equipments with an appropriate relationship with the environmental vulnerability, if on one side it speeds up to us to open and to comprise new research ways from the other reminds us the unavoidable knowledge of the places, the environmental contexts, and the –material- cultures that, in the course of the time, have produced meaningful expressions in the considered within. Therefore, it is proposed a search way aiming at the definition of new compatible “use” models respect to the "place" – either at the environmental level or at the social and economic one - and verifiable for what concerns environmental safeguard and use expectations. In particular, we refer to a particular coastal area (teatina) where it is in course a stimulating debate regarding the tourism development of the place. It has been therefore carried out an analysis aiming at the “reconstruction” of the technical knowledge, in a phase of extinction, referring to a particular constructive system (used for "trabocchi" – peach equipments), than it has been found particularly suitable from the structural and maintenance point of view; so it has been assumed a re-proposition, in a contemporary version, of the "trabocchi" characterizing elements like reference for the planning of appropriated bathing structures respect to the considered place. In synthesis, it has been defined an informed planning for what concerns the appropriateness criteria coming from the "place" knowledge in a wide sense: from the researches carried out about the dwelling way to the interdisciplinary contributions for the different and specialist competences. In this occasion some design hypotheses are presented, regarding to a bathing equipments system (the basic structural and the services ones), estimated with the predisposition of ad hoc instruments, either for the environmental “weight” control (some alternatives solutions to compare - building product LCA), or for the verification of the offered tourist services quality, considering a management in which environment is an active factor (QFDE /methodology that considers, in the evaluation of the tourism quality either the service planning process, as integrated approach, or the customer needs and the management and the service inner requirements, introducing in the list the environmental expectations).
