The Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) methodology is still under development and more case-studies for its improvement are needed. Some difficulties to perform S-LCA are related to the definition of inventory indicators and to the lack of database. This paper, starting from the definition of the inventory indicators, tries to illustrate what is available in the literature about this subject. Later on, the inventory indicators, based on the methodological sheets, to be used for the implementation of the S-LCA in the wine sector in Italy are identified. This paper is part of a larger project which aims at the implementation and dissemination of S-LCA in the wine sector in Italy.
