In recent years the difficulties of working in Libya have led to the implementation of a series of training programmes to help Libyan colleagues in their work. In 2016 and 2017 this training was designed directly on the basis of the needs and requests of the DoA; the missions run by MIBAC and the Universities of Chieti, Roma Tre and Urbino participated in its organization in the form of an academic, didactic and financial collaboration. The training was devoted to architectural restoration and consolidation, mainly focusing on stone and marble architectural elements.

Abstract
