The Archaeological Mission of Chieti University is working in Libya since 1997. Several surveys, excavations, GIS mapping, archaeometrical and archaeological studies have been carried out. The volume is presenting the results of the research seasons from the 2006 to the 2008 relating to umpublished excavations, territorial studies and works on specific sites, as well as the restoration of the sculptures and the arrangement of the Museum of the Sculptures and Cyrene. It represents the first volume of a series on the excavations and survey of the University G. d'Annunzio of Chieti-Pescara in Libya, Egypt, Cyprus, Italy and other sites. The author of the volume is Oliva Menozzi, who has written and edited the main sections of the volume, while the appendix is presenting several contributions by different authors.
