Abstract

The main feature of Infinite Cities is to infinitely build new possibilities in the face of the challenges of our time, in which ecological changes are in conflict with society and economies. Infinite Cities are not models. They do not refer to the un- differentiated growth of the metropolises, but they are infinite cities able to regenerate themselves continuously, to start new life cycles when their decadence seems on the highest level. Cities are continually resilient to the crises and catastrophes that afflict them with characteristics that are always central to the debate on the quality of urban life. The article analyzes the central role of multilateral development banks in relation to concrete interventions developed within cities.
