Abstract

In his first novel, Foliranti (1975), Momo Kapor created a cult space-time structure: it is a chronotope that later on has become characteristic of many of his works, and it refers to Belgrade from the late fifties to the early sixties. This chronotopic structure is about the triangle “narrator-Mima-Ale” and about other young people who feel surrounded by the “line”, a frontier they try to cross, and which inevitably leads to the profanation of the chronotope.
