The necropolis of Capestrano is particularly famous for the find of the Archaic statue of the Warrior. However the several excavations in the year have given a huge amount of interesting finds and a complete picture ofthe funerary uses in the Vestine area from the VIII cetury BC to the III century AD. The paper illustrates the finds and the typologies of the tombs which have been excavated during last 10 years from a large team of the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici per l?Abruzzo and of Chieti University.
