The roman theatre of Hatria has been excavated by the Soprintendenza per i Beni archeologici dell'Abruzzo between 1991 and 1996. The paper illustrates the results of the excavations and the evolution of the quarter from the V cent. BC to post-medieval phases. Moreover, a description of the roman theatre is presented.
