The essay attempts to reconstruct Jaspers’ analysis on delusion. It includes the considerations of Jaspers in the contemporary debate that there have developed on delusion, as well as delusion’ interpretation as a possibility of the experience. From Jaspers’ axiom of the incomprehensibility – on the basis of it the primary delusion cannot be understood but it only can be explained, since it is related to neurological disease – the paper attempts to track in Jaspers’ analysis the possibility to find a pass key to the delusion that be not of a strictly causal. My purpose is to find the root of delusion in the construction of the subjectivity, and the relation between the subject and the outside world, within that subjective construction through Jasper’ considerations.
