The article analyzes the linguistic features of the novel by Mauro Covacich, Prima di sparire. In particular, we will highlight the elements of "italiano dell'uso medio" which today appear more and more in contemporary Italian fiction, the emblem of an increasingly osmotic between spoken and written language.
