The purpose of this article is to investigate the language of economics and finance in the online newspapers, and to verify whether, in the transition from print to online information, the linguistic peculiarities of L.E.F. (Linguaggio dell'economia e della finanza) have changed. In particular, we will discuss the features of the LEF in printed newspapers and those ones in online “Il Sole 24 ore” (by reading some articles from the newspaper's website).
