Recycling and reuse of components recovered from the maritime sector

The high level of global overbuilding and the high land consuption rates require a critical reflection in favour of a concept of development based on urban regeneration programs, recovery, restructuring, reuse and development of buildings, and renediation of contaminated sites and of brownfields.One intresting way to achieve this goal is to propose new model which also relate to the transfer of technologies from other sectors, namely the maritime industry.
