This paper is dedicated to the preliminary analysis of the clay oil lamps found at the San Vittorino catacombs, in Amiternum. The three main typologies, Atlante VIII, Atlante X and the ‘Catacomb lamps’, are well documented and their various decorative motifs can be attributed to a wide period ranging from the 4th to the 6th century. Recent studies on the specific case of the ‘Catacomb lamps’ type have identified some workshops in the nearby area and in the Amiternum amphitheatre, showing the circulation of the lamps on the micro-regional scale
