In this chapter I analyse the method in the sociology of Émile Durkheim (1858–1917) and Max Weber (1864–1920). I identify in their work the basis of a research about the method that will have a fundamental value for sociology and for the empirical and theoretical development of the discipline in the 20th century. Durkheim and Weber are authors of works that contribute to the foundation of sociology, with regards to the objective and the method of the discipline.

Abstract
In this chapter I analyse the method in the sociology of Émile Durkheim (1858–1917) and Max Weber (1864–1920). I identify in their work the basis of a research about the method that will have a fundamental value for sociology and for the empirical and theoretical development of the discipline in the 20th century. Durkheim and Weber are authors of works that contribute to the foundation of sociology, with regards to the objective and the method of the discipline.File in questo prodotto:
