This work is inspired by a scientific event that has recently been held in Italy, organized by the Section of "Developmental and Educational Psychology", of the Italian Association of Psychologists. There were two days of study on the theme "COVID-19 Emergency. Evolutionary and educational repercussions" at the University of Bari on and 16 September, in the form of a Web Conference. In particular, we will rely on the contributions presented in session 6 "Distance learning at the time of COVID-19", to illustrate the main research works carried out in Italy on this topic. After a brief introduction, the research will be illustrated by articulating it on three themes: a) the perception of students; b) teachers' perception; c) the perception of parents, students and teachers. Eventually, conclusions will be drawn and possible practical implications illustrated.
