The Emerging Threats to Social and Personal Security during the Pandemic

At the beginning of the 21st century, the Western as well as some developing countries had an illusion that they had reached the top of the Maslow pyramid. During 2020, the whole world suddenly and rapidly descended to the foot of the pyramid. The emerging threats endangers the very existence of a human being reducing it to the matter of physical survival or the “naked life” according to Giorgio Agamben. Insofar as the pandemic is still developing, we can only make short-term forecasts and conclusions. Nonetheless, we can carefully highlight several types of dangerous consequences of the pandemic.
