This research focuses on the concept of misogyny, investigating its historical roots and exploring its present-day expressions, highlighting its persistent and multifaceted character. Misogyny has undergone transformations throughout history, gaining reception within linguistic and cultural norms, and enduring even in the face of feminist movements. Although there have been instances of progress during critical periods, achieving substantial and lasting change has proven to be a gradual process. In the modern age, misogyny remains prevalent, notably within online platforms, where the convenience and connectivity of the internet coexist with concerns over privacy erosion and the unrestricted expression of misogynistic views. Utilizing topic-modeling analysis, we investigate discussions on virtual platforms. By examining posts and comments from Manosphere activists, we provide valuable insights into the subjects and conversations occurring within Italian Facebook pages associated with Men’s Rights, shedding light on the prevalent themes and language within these online communities.
