The essay aims to analyse the ontological and systematic processuality that underpins the actualisation of freedom within the Hegelian objective spirit. Particular attention is paid to the isonomic relation, on the one hand, between freedom and concept and, on the other, between freedom and truth. The essay concludes with an analysis of the vital relationship between the finite and the universal within Hegel's conception of the state.
