This paper deals with three measures of occurrence of events for Markov processes. The first measure is the well-known rate of occurrence of failures (ROCOF), the second is called the rate of occurrence of repairs (ROCOR), and the third is their ratio. We show how these indicators can be computed and the usefulness of their joint utilization in a real application in wind power production.
