Chalcones are biologically active compounds that play an important role as interesting scaffolds in medicinal chemistry, because of the wide range of bioactivities they exhibit. This chapter focuses on developments from the past three to five years in structure-activity relationships and in vitro/in vivo bioactivities of natural and synthetic chalcone-based derivatives, potentially employable as anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, and antioxidant agents.

Abstract
Chalcones are biologically active compounds that play an important role as interesting scaffolds in medicinal chemistry, because of the wide range of bioactivities they exhibit. This chapter focuses on developments from the past three to five years in structure-activity relationships and in vitro/in vivo bioactivities of natural and synthetic chalcone-based derivatives, potentially employable as anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, and antioxidant agents.File in questo prodotto:
