The PILOT (Peninsular ItaLy Over Time) Stress Database is primarily based on the multi-scale inversion of 8,206 Fault–Striation Pairs (FSP) measured along or near Late Pliocene–Quaternary fault traces within the Intra-Apennine Extensional Province (IEP). The raw FSP data derive mainly from QUIN 1.0 and 2.0 (Lavecchia et al., 2022, 2024), with a minor contribution (~8%) from additional published sources, as detailed in the Read Me accompanying the Excel files. The database is organized into four thematic datasets, provided as four separate Excel files: • Dataset 1 - Structural Site kinematic PBT stress inversion • Dataset 2 - Fault Group full-tensor stress inversion • Dataset 3 - Fault Supergroup full-tensor stress inversion • Dataset 4 - Multi-source tensional axes (T-hybrid map)
