Danni di guerra e danni di pace. Ricostruzione e città storiche in Abruzzo nel secondo dopoguerra

Il volume è dedicato al tema della ricostruzione postbellica in Abruzzo, sviluppato a partire dalle distruzioni subite dai vari centri, e sulla base delle modalità seguite. Il supporto documentario utilizzato è quello dei Piani di ricostruzione elaborati in linea con la legge 154 del marzo 1945, diretta a disciplinare la ricostruzione delle città secondo precise indicazioni riguardo all’entità dei danni sofferti, la loro importanza nel panorama regionale, la possibilità o meno di essere abbandonate in tutto o in parte, l’opportunità di realizzare miglioramenti urbanistici ed edilizi secondo le nuove istanze di modernità. Il tutto indagato in riferimento alle problematiche del restauro e con l’obiettivo di portare nuovi argomenti agli attuali orientamenti sul recupero dei centri urbani soprattutto minori. The volume is dedicated to the theme of post-war reconstruction in Abruzzo, developed from the destruction suffered by the various centers, and on the basis of the detailed procedures. The documentary support used is that of reconstruction Plans drawn up in line with Law 154, March 1945, intended to regulate the reconstruction of the cities according to precise instructions concerning the extent of damage suffered, their importance in the regional area, the likelihood or less to be abandoned in whole or in part, the opportunity to make urban and building improvements in accordance with the new instances of modernity. All investigated in relation to issues of restoration and with the goal of bringing new topics to the current guidelines on the recovery of urban centers especially the smaller ones.
