The evaluation of personality plays an important role in personnel recruitment and in counselling. The aim of this research is to outline different personality profiles according to the choice of the University Faculty. Participants were 273 University students (100 males and 173 females), of age ranging from 20 to 42 years old, belonging to four different faculties. Participants were administered the Five Factor Professional Questionnaire (FFPQ). Results showed personality profiles were differentiated by the choice of faculty. Significant differences between groups emerged as regards Open Mindedness, Competition, and Conscientiousness, while no difference was demonstrated for Extroversion and Emotional Stability.
