We want to check the changes of quality of teaching architecture following the introduction of computers as a tool for project development. To this end we examine the design process adopted by those contemporary architects (from F. Gehry to G. Lynn), who have focused the digitally assisted innovative design. Their mediatized proposals definitely influences students' work. Also we will consider the websites of architecture studios and, more generally, surfing Internet as a study tool for the new generations of students. We then ask if the potential of three-dimensional visualization programs are not likely to trivialize the architectural research creating eye-catching images with following realizations of not high quality.

Abstract
We want to check the changes of quality of teaching architecture following the introduction of computers as a tool for project development. To this end we examine the design process adopted by those contemporary architects (from F. Gehry to G. Lynn), who have focused the digitally assisted innovative design. Their mediatized proposals definitely influences students' work. Also we will consider the websites of architecture studios and, more generally, surfing Internet as a study tool for the new generations of students. We then ask if the potential of three-dimensional visualization programs are not likely to trivialize the architectural research creating eye-catching images with following realizations of not high quality.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
