The paper is a study on working conditions and employment opportunities for women in the Pescara area and comes from a primary instance of cognitive the reality of women's work in the local area. The explicit aim is to gain useful insights to better identify and define the characteristics of a phenomenon such as working women, in order to make possible interventions and actions aimed at removing or minimizing the effects of gender differences in the implementation of equal employment opportunities between men and women.
