Abstract
A method is described for analysing serum concentrations of clofibric acid using a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. Results obtained on serum of newborns from clofibrate treated rats demonstrate that the major clofibrate metabolite, i.e. clofibric acid, passes the placental barrier, reaching the fetal blood stream.File in questo prodotto:
