In this brief note we consider offset-normal shape distributions which represent an important parameterized family of shape distributions. We show that these probability models are useful for statistical inference on landmark data observed at different temporal instants. This is important for many problems involving motion, deformations and time-varying shapes. This work is a natural progression of the results achieved in Welling and Kume (2010).

Abstract
In this brief note we consider offset-normal shape distributions which represent an important parameterized family of shape distributions. We show that these probability models are useful for statistical inference on landmark data observed at different temporal instants. This is important for many problems involving motion, deformations and time-varying shapes. This work is a natural progression of the results achieved in Welling and Kume (2010).File in questo prodotto:
