The paper proposes a multidisciplinary investigation on the Liberty heritage in the coastal of the Abruzzo Region, focused on archival research of historical documents that have made possible the analysis of the original project drawings. The comparison with the current situation, obtained through the direct investigation of the architecture in the urban context provides the basis for future protection and enhancement. The aim of the research, through the analysis of the expressive power of the graphical representation, is to highlight the quality of these buildings; through the discovery of unpublished documents, this work may also contribute to the exploitation of this heritage with a systematic study that simultaneously considers the documents and the survey drawings.
