This treatment was carried out in the context of a national convention of the principal association of professional in the field on pedagogical culture, some years ago, and has been revised and updated recently. It presents a more general interest, and for this purpose has been structured and completely recise. Pedagogy (not simply “education”), conceived as the scientific community and as a professional, has the basic need of common ideas, conceptual and operational tools, techniques, procedures, specific vocabulary, just like any other community or professional group .At this precise goal , this discussion has focused on three components of the conceptual background: a) the concept of “pedagogy” beginning by its etymology, which is Latin and Greek only indirectly, and its precise meaning studied in terms of operations professional; b) the concept of “clinical” understood in the sense of a choice of method, the choice of pedagogist professionals to work on the case and in particular situation , and connecting to the general cases by the process of abduction; c) the concept of therapy, which is not a specific pedagogical concept. The research and the profession go on.
