Per un disegno delle qualità ambientali, documentali e immateriali di un paesaggio italiano (della Tuscia Viterbese) = Representing the environmental, documentary and intangible qualities of an italian landscape (Tuscia Viterbese district, central Italy).

The research pursued the objective of representing the complexity and the quality of a fundamental part of our environmental and ephemeral heritage. According to the recent 'raccomendation' regarding European Landscape Convention, the work presented here offers a summary of the investigations carried out on the island of Bisentina placed in the Lake Bolsena, (central Italy). The survey covered two complementary study areas. On the one end, investigating the spatial and perceptive relationship between the island and the coastal towns, on the other, examining the links between the natural and the built-up areas within the island. La ricerca persegue l'obiettivo di rappresentare la complessità e la qualità di un brano fondamentale del nostro patrimonio ambientale e immateriale. In linea con le recenti 'raccomandazioni' della Comunità Europea in materia di Paesaggio, il lavoro che si presenta riguarda una sintesi delle indagini condotte sull'isola Bisentina collocata nel lago di Bolsena, (Italia centrale). L'indagine ha riguardato due percorsi complementari: da un lato sono state documentate le relazioni spaziali e percettive tra l'isola e i centri costieri, dall'altro, sono state analizzate le connessioni tra realtà costruita e naturale all'interno dell'isola.
