In a hypothetical itinerary, focused on the knowledge and dissemination of the historic architecture of some of the smaller towns of the province of Pescara, there are small companies that have lost valuable evidence during the time, but of which there are interesting artifacts and a natural environment of excellent value. Our interest is in the ancient hilly course that from Chieti reached Teramo, through Pianella, Loreto Aprutino, Penne, Picciano and other countries. In particular we will focus on the conurbation of Picciano, located in the province of Pescara at 20 km from the sea, which can be taken as a paradigm of the many agricultural centers scattered throughout the vast territory preappennines Abruzzo fate and increased to meet the need of economic land management. The urban character reflects the physiognomy of a productive activity tied to large estates and breeding. We, thus, detected metrically buildings in Picciano and plotted them graphically as they are an expression of an economic model as old as current, linked to its territory. It is therefore an asset to be safeguarded in relation to the environmental context.
