Circumscribing a homogeneous area, defining its limits indicates a principle of attention to it. The late nineteenth century, when the Fortified town was demolished, the old town of Pescara was not the subject of special attention. Neglected for over one hundred fifty years, because it did not allow profitable income, was alienated from any legislation that would recognize its identity. This led to its progressive deterioration and the loss of historical memory. To curb this phenomenon we have launched a series of studies aimed on the recognition of his characters, beginning with the document the state of consistency. This first act, consisted of a detailed and complex field survey of the buildings, had the goal to put the interest on that part of the city that contains the genes of its existence, and indirectly traces its development. In parallel it was developed thorough archival research from which emerged projects never made and projects that circumstances have totally changed. Both of these documents enabled a comparison with the existing one and put forward a series of images of a lost city or never realized in order to be able to exploit.
