The education in prisons is an extremely contentious issue, which reflects the ambivalence and the contradictions of this institution in contemporary society. The Pedagogy, therefore, is called to reflect on this challenge, to propose possibilities for change and proposals different models of rehabilitation of the prisoner. In this direction, the contribution aims to explain the purposes and results of the research-action project based on the cooperation between the University of Chieti-Pescara and the Chieti Prison, and on the essential features of the Charter of children and their parents in prison.

Abstract
