The problem of the end life of lead acid batteries absorbs from many years the attention of the prelocated agency for environmental protection end of the stakeholder. The reason is that the lead acid batteries are a specials dangerous wastes, for environmental and for people. Infact they have important value for the quantities generated in kTon/year and for the value of the costitutives element: Lead, Sulfuric Acid and Polypropylene. The aim of this paper is to objective evaluation about economic convenience of recycling process. We’ll exstimate economic aspect trating both primary both secondary lead. Than we’ll evaluate technologic aspect of recycling process. We’ll comparate energetic intensity of raw material of the lead acid batteries and we’ll evaluate energetic convenience of recycling process. In this way we’ll estrapolate final consideration about environmental impact taking in to account recycling process and its economic social environmental effects.
