This paper presents the results of research on the design of a system design (service- product) for sustainable tourism in cities of art. The case study foresees the integration of network services via a new mobile device concept, and the creation of new ‟creative communities” in order to create a physical and “real-time” social network. The service-product is composed of Internet (city Wi-Fi hotspots), mobile devices and creative communities that create a physical and social network in real time. In summary, the idea is to provide a highly personalised sustainable service through HiCS (Highly Customer-ised Solutions), in which the structure is a network and the service is enabling. The system is completed with a new multimedia device worn on the tourist’s wrist whose functional, technological, morphological and aesthetic features are derived from a careful study of the hardware and software interface.

Abstract
This paper presents the results of research on the design of a system design (service- product) for sustainable tourism in cities of art. The case study foresees the integration of network services via a new mobile device concept, and the creation of new ‟creative communities” in order to create a physical and “real-time” social network. The service-product is composed of Internet (city Wi-Fi hotspots), mobile devices and creative communities that create a physical and social network in real time. In summary, the idea is to provide a highly personalised sustainable service through HiCS (Highly Customer-ised Solutions), in which the structure is a network and the service is enabling. The system is completed with a new multimedia device worn on the tourist’s wrist whose functional, technological, morphological and aesthetic features are derived from a careful study of the hardware and software interface.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
