Abstract Psoriasis (PsO) is a phenotypically heterogeneous, immune-mediated skin condition with a relapsing and remitting course, that affects approximately 2% of the general population with equal sex incidence. About 30% of PsO patients are also affected by psoriatic arthritis PsA. Several psoriatic skin presentations have been associated with an higher probability of present PsA. Clinical predictors for developing arthritis will be comprehensively reviewed in this article to evaluate if there are specific skin phenotypes associated with PsA.
