The E.F.P. (Esthetic-Function-Posture) approach allows the successful management of patients affected by parafunctions and/or occlusal disorders, giving them back a pleasant smile, restoring their occlusion and improving their postural balance, using one single treatment. In the first four modules of the present course, after having explained all the diagnostic procedures and the clinical steps for a temporary stabilization of the mandible in its new balanced position, the final occlusal rehabilita-tions of anterior teeth (with adhesive cementation of additive palatal veneers on the maxilla and direct composite restorations on the lower arch) and of posterior teeth (minimizing unnecessary dental preparations and using as far as possible a purely additive and adhesive approach) were carefully detailed. In this fifth module, the phases and materials necessary for the purely aesthetic and cosmetic finalization of the anterior sectors will be examined. In fact, whenever considered necessary, the buccal restoration of the maxillary anterior teeth concludes the therapeutic procedures. In this phase, the patient has reached definitely balanced occlusal conditions and the clinician can decide, without functional implications, the rehabilitation to be adopted for the completion of the therapy. © 2018 EDRA SpA. Abstract
