Recent finds from Cyrene are attesting a new type of the statues known as funerary goddesses, so well known in Cyrenaica. The paper is illustrating the finds coming from the territory and some example from abroad to show a new type, which is almost known. It is also the occasion to reconstruct some of the contexts of the finds, as well as the tracks of the illicit traffic of these statues, which is a huge problem for Cyrene.
