This is the first of a two-parts study concerning the integration of human factors into sustainable and sustainable-oriented 3D printing systems. Nowadays, it is largely accepted the idea that the so-called ‘human factor’ plays an important role in the achievement and in the development of sustainableoriented actions, since it is able to inspire the adoption of appropriate lifestyles and new ways of consumption. In the Design domain, the use of HCD approach can boost the compatibility between human activities and 3D printing systems’ performances, as well as the development of more ‘humanized’ production services and systems. Accordingly, this first part will present the methodological setting of the research and, later, the integration strategy used to develop the human integration into sustainable 3D printing systems.

Abstract
This is the first of a two-parts study concerning the integration of human factors into sustainable and sustainable-oriented 3D printing systems. Nowadays, it is largely accepted the idea that the so-called ‘human factor’ plays an important role in the achievement and in the development of sustainableoriented actions, since it is able to inspire the adoption of appropriate lifestyles and new ways of consumption. In the Design domain, the use of HCD approach can boost the compatibility between human activities and 3D printing systems’ performances, as well as the development of more ‘humanized’ production services and systems. Accordingly, this first part will present the methodological setting of the research and, later, the integration strategy used to develop the human integration into sustainable 3D printing systems.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
