Una proposta teorico-metodologica per lo studio delle organizzazioni in prospettiva sociologico-giuridica

Sociological-legal research should measure itself in a more systematic and methodologically perceived way with archives and documentary sources, assuming them in their plurivocity and complexity. While, in fact, the attention paid to specific and homogeneous document types, such as sentences or testaments, is consolidated and goes back to the foundations of the discipline, there is still no more specific attention to the documentary and archival dimensions understood in the broadest sense. This attention, declined in the current dimension and oriented to empirical research, finds fertile ground for investigation in the analysis of public and private organizations. A possible interdisciplinary research field is identified in which the heuristic and methodological tools of the sociology of law dialogue with the neighbouring areas of the sociology of organizations, making use, in a structured and conscious way, of the theoretical and practical resources of the archival sciences and looking at some scenarios of the contemporary sociological reflection on "infrastructures". After the presentation of the basic theoretical-methodological proposal, in which some thematic, analytical and method paths are illustrated, some cases taken from research carried out in public organisations are offered to the attention of the reader as examples of possible directions of socio-legal analysis.
