Poesia umanistica a Ferrara: Daniele Fini tra autobiografia e cronaca

By editing and illustrating a selection of poems by the Ferrara humanist Daniele Fini, who collected them together with those of his friends in the autograph workbook Ferrara BCA cl. I 437 (of which the A. has already provided a detailed description in SMU 16, 2018, 169-206), the article highlight the typology of contents, forms and aims of Fini’s poetic production. It also adds new elements to the author’s biography and constitutes a useful contribution to the cultural environment in which he worked, as well as to some episodes in the history of Ferrara during the first half of the sixteenth century.
