Different forms of the image, such as photography, technical drawing and graphic document, reveal the different aspects of a subject. The images that we will relate show an ancient bridge of a town in the territory of L'Aquila, in Abruzzo. The aim is to show how this forms of visualization are not sufficient to independently document the condition of the subject. An analytical comparison between the different figurative forms arises in order to understand to what extent the image fulfills its role, being produced for a specific purpose. From the artistic photographs to the documentary ones, from the archive drawings to the technical ones, and from the photos to obtain synthetic 3D models, a different display path is determined. In this process of identification and knowledge, the researcher acts as a manipulator, as a solicitor to create an exchange. Communication continues to be unilateral and sectoral. The analysis of the different ways of visualizing a construction, photomodeling too, highlighted the intermediary character of the image and its non-substantial nature, since it survives outside the function for which it was produced.

Abstract
The analysis of the different ways of visualizing a construction, photomodeling too, highlighted the intermediary character of the image and its non-substantial nature, since it survives outside the function for which it was produced.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
