For this reason, presenting two recent works by the Tuscan architect is an opportunity for highlighting some primarily important disciplinary issues. The Multi-purpose Accommodation Center in Florence was completed in 2016 as a facility mainly devoted to temporary accommodation for relatives of patients in the Careggi Hospital complex and the Mayer pediatric hospital. The building incorporates a range of functions besides accommodation, such as canteen, services and temporary lodgings for families and volunteers, as well as a Library and administrative offices.
