Neo-ruralismo agricolo, nutrizionismo, foraging e resistenze culturali nelle Alpi e negli Appennini: due case study etnografici a confronto

The article analyses the complex relationship between city and surrounding territory: suburban agricultural sector and spontaneous collection and cultivation of traditional essences have almost disappeared from the food context. The citizens search for a healthier lifestyle, but they don’t accept to remember intangible heritages related to the research and consumption of specific food and agricultural varieties which in their perception belong to a past of poverty. In some rural areas of Trentino Alto Adige/Südtirol and in some urban areas of Abruzzo cultural resistances and new-rural interests coexist about the agricultural sector that influence food domestication of families. At the same time new agricultural and food trend are born: if these are practiced superficially and without knowledge of traditional community heritage, they still bring to serious problems. The two case study compared can add a piece to new research season related to these connection between territories and people.
