Through a selective analysis of the media, national and local, print and online, the researcher has reconstructed the main phases of the communication of post-earthquake reconstruction of the city of L'Aquila, in particular from 2012 to 2016, for understand the relationships between institutions, media and public opinion, identifying positive and negative stereotypes on the phenomenon. The researcher examined 237 articles that dealt with the reconstruction and the actions of the Office of the Special Reconstruction of L'Aquila. Together with the qualitative analysis of the articles, the researcher has collected interviews of journalists who followed the whole story from 2009 to the present.

Abstract
