In 2017 a KA2 Erasmus+ project titled “Learning from Best Performers in Education” was financed by the European Com- mission involving three countries: Austria, Italy and Portugal. According to different studies, teachers’ burnout in Europe is very big phenomenon. This situation implies psychological suffering and entails negative consequences on teachers them- selves, on their students and on the educational system, affec- ting class quality and students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the systemic approach that the project adopted paid attention to headmasters and other school leaders who are responsible for school culture, learning climate and the opportunities that teachers have to develop their own skills. The aim of the pro- ject is all about: making possible the shift from negative to po- sitive dynamics. The project works on two different and com- plementary levels, i.e. teachers and schools. The project inten- ded to: identify best performing teachers and school leaders; select a number of best practices; analyse the key to their trans- ferability. The project identified practices that already work well and investigated how these practices could be transferred in such a way that schools in different areas can benefit from them. An online platform has been created to collect 82 tea- ching/learning practices and other tools for self-study and self- assessment.

Abstract
An online platform has been created to collect 82 tea- ching/learning practices and other tools for self-study and self- assessment.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
