The contribution deal with the coastal territory of the mid-Adriatic Abruzzo region, which is characterised by the pervasiveness of urbanisation processes and by the presence of a dense network of morphological, landscape, as well as socio-economic and cultural values. The proximity of natural and anthropic landscapes, along with the land-sea interactions over time marked the settlement processes of these coastal areas, deploying the relational aspect of the cultural heritage. At the same time, environmental challenges related to land consumption, reorganisation of the production and of tourism, as well as the ongoing climate crisis portray a fragile geography affected by multiple levels of vulnerability. Abstract
Exploring these features/aspects, the case of Trabocchi coast stands out as significant.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
