Abstract
Thanks to the discovery of previously unknown documents, the writer of the pre- sent study was able to reconstruct the chronology of the paintings commissioned to Giovanni Bonati, Giovanni Maria Morandi and Gilles Hallet by the ‘provisori’ of the church of Santa Maria dell’Anima in Rome for its Sacristy. The documents also recall the participation of Carlo Maratta, who began painting the Nativity of the Virgin in 1682 and who, in the same year, restored the Pala Fugger of Giulio Romano.File in questo prodotto:
