The management of contemporary landscapes in highly anthropized territories represents today a challenge that is not easy to solve in terms of planning and the relative protection of cultural heritage, already articulated in the case of built heritage safeguarded through ministerial regulations and ordinary instruments, but much more complex for categories of buildings and urban fabrics derived from the development of settlements inhabited in the twentieth century.
