Hydrogeology of Ruzzo springs (Gran Sasso massif, Central Italy) Ruzzo spring group is made by seven major springs: they represent an amount of drainage on hydrostructure of Gran Sasso (Central Apennines, Italy). This work concerned with study of hydrometeorologic parameters, discharge of spring intake structures, depletion curve analysis and physical-chemical data, from May 2003 to December 2004 at least. We can assert that Ruzzo springs have shallow circuit connected to basal groundwater because in their zone fractured calcareous litologies outcrop alternate with either others less/not fractured litologies or marly litologies. Ruzzo spring group has a shallow circulation characterizing their discharge regimen and it places itself above a basal component flux regulator. Work results, well-timely integrated, will lead to comprise either possible hydrodynamic effects after realization of Gran Sasso highway tunnel or presence of anomalous organic substances found in spring water. Key Terms: Spring discharge and physical-chemical data, Water shallow portion, Water basal portion, Gran Sasso, Abruzzo, Italy.
